That is a real event venue, not a room with a bar in it — but because it is three connected rooms rather than one hall, it does not fail at the bottom of its range the way a large single space does. Open all three for a 200-person launch. Use one for a forty-person press breakfast and the room still feels full. It is a blank canvas: white walls, blackout capability, professional lighting and a full sound system already in the building, and no house style to work around. You can dress it however the brand requires, or leave it as it is.

The rooms connect, so guests move between them rather than standing in one box for three hours. That is the practical difference between a room hire and an event.

It runs as late as you need

There is no curfew at STU 22. Your event does not have to stop at eleven because the building says so. Most small venues in East London carry a curfew, and the curfew is usually discovered late in the planning — after the date is fixed, the DJ is booked and the guest list is out. Here, a launch can run into the small hours, a listening party does not have to end at its own peak, and the de-rig can happen overnight instead of at 7am the next morning.

STU 22 operates on a bring your own bottle basis and there is no corkage fee. You bring the drinks, we charge nothing to serve them.
