The Cove offers a choice of natural light or full blackout. The Blackout is a total light seal with zero ambient light. The Portal includes a full DJ setup and is used for DJ sets, podcasts, video podcasts and music content. A Cove half day is five hours and a full day is ten hours; Blackout half and full day lengths are confirmed at booking. All rates exclude VAT at 20%.

What is included in every booking
Every Cove and Blackout booking at STU 22 includes power, cleaning, studio operations and a basic kit at no extra cost: Aputure continuous lighting; C-stands, combo stands, light stands, boom, magic arms and sandbags; poly boards, gels, diffusers, softboxes and umbrellas; extension leads throughout; and kitchen access with complimentary tea and coffee. No equipment, cleaning or facility fees are added. All prices exclude VAT at 20%.
A Full Kit upgrade is available at £200 per booking day. It adds Aputure Spotlight, Nova P300, Godox RGB150W, SL60W and MS300, Lencarta UltraPro and SmartFlash, Amaran 60D and 60X units, and a Leica Cine projector. It is shown upfront at booking and is always optional.

Retainer hours are valid across all three studios. Creator hours roll over up to 25%. Production adds pre-production support and a monthly content-planning session. Resident adds a dedicated account manager, first refusal on weekend dates and on-site equipment storage.

Fashion and editorial photography, e-commerce and product photography, music videos and cinematic shoots, podcast and video podcast recording, DJ set recording, user-generated content and creator sessions, self-tape auditions, headshots and corporate portraits, maternity and family portraits, and events for up to 200 guests including launches, press days, brand activations and listening parties.
