STU 22 — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Who we are
STU 22 (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a photography and music studio based at 8-10 Sampson Street, Wapping, London E1W 1NA, operating the website stu22.io. STU 22 is a sole trader business. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at info@stu22.io.
What data we collect
Booking and enquiry data. When you use our booking form or message us on WhatsApp, we collect your name, email address, the studio/space you’re interested in, and any details you include about your booking (e.g. date, time, project type). We use this to respond to your enquiry and arrange your booking.
Cookies and analytics. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Ads, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. These may collect information such as your IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed. You can control non-essential cookies at any time via the “Manage Cookies” link in the site footer.
Website hosting. Our site is hosted on Squarespace, which processes technical data (such as server logs) on our behalf to operate the site.
Why we use your data (legal basis)
To respond to booking enquiries and provide our studio hire services — necessary to take steps at your request prior to a contract, and to perform a contract once booked. To send you information you’ve requested — legitimate interest. For analytics and advertising cookies — your consent, given via our cookie banner.
Who we share it with
We share data with the service providers who help us run our business: Squarespace (website hosting and form processing), Google (Analytics and Ads), and WhatsApp/Meta (if you message us via WhatsApp). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and enquiry data for as long as needed to deliver our services and to meet our legal and tax obligations (typically up to 6 years for records relating to completed bookings), and delete or anonymise it when no longer needed. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s default retention settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@stu22.io. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we haven’t handled your data properly.
Children
Our services and website are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will reflect the most recent version.
